I didn't know what to say

"I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY."

Those were the words we received after helping someone through one of the most difficult periods of their life.

Behind every grant application is a story.

A story of struggle.

A story of worry.

A story of someone trying to keep going.

Lots of times people come to us when they feel they have nowhere else to turn.

A grant doesn't solve every problem. We know that.

But it can provide hope.

And sometimes hope is enough to help someone take the next step.
